Shipping and returns policies

Shipping and returns: Via FedEx or UPS Ground, bikes ship in 85% assembled condition. Via Amtrak, bikes ship in better than 95% assembled condition. Important note: For custom builds, including any frame that we have powdercoated for a customer or that we otherwise customize, we cannot accept returns.

Also: Closeout and demo bikes are not returnable except at the discretion of Joe Bike.

Customs and import duties: It is the customer’s responsibility to determine and pay for any customs or import duties.

Other returns policies: For accessories, items may be returned within 14 days for a refund, exchange, or store credit, provided the returned item is in new condition. For clearance and other sale items, including bicycles, returns are generally not allowed. For special-order items, payment must be made in advance and returns are not allowed except in cases where we judge that we can resell the item within a reasonable length of time. For returns of shipped items, all shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer along with any packing and unpacking fees. For bicycles that are not custom builds and not on clearance, we accept returns within 14 days of purchase provided that the bike is in new condition. If there is any damage to the bike, we reserve the right to keep part of the money to pay for diminished value.
